And I am still laughing. The Grey Lady has emailed the top 10 stories of the year. Apparently last January he wrote Maureen Dowd's column for one issue. Please read here to decide who you want to be the next President of These United States of Ours.

SO when I was little I never understood how paper could ever win. It seemed obvious to me that yes rock has to win at all times. Alas, this is not the case at all and rock, paper, scissors continues to elude me. I never use it to settle anything while many use it as a means to settle disputes, disagreements or any other contentions they may or may not have. A friendly round of hand gestures meant to convey a strength over someone else's weakness.
OK back to TAL (This American Life). Do you have a voice inside your head telling you what to do. Apparently there are voices telling people to smoke, binge & purge, drink and do all manner of things that they regret doing in their "moral life". How about a guy who compulsively buys too much food? Whaaaaatttttt? And no he's not a binge eater. This episode was podcast 9/9/7. Please check it out and tell me what you think.

OK- I don't know what your plans for the afterlife are, but you can send greeting cards. I kid you not. I can hear you snickering. Click here for yourself.

Okay so I have a backlog of This American Life on my iTunes podcast folder. And you know how iTunes refuses to update if you don't listen to your podcasts-well I trick it. I click on an episode just so the blue dot will disappear and I can keep downloading. So right now I have over 20 episodes on backlog. I will be writing aboutthem all week people. GET READY!
The jackhammer started a few minutes ago. Earlier it was the garbage trucks. A welcome sound as they are hauling away the BS. No idea what the jackhammer's for. It's like New York out there with the racket they're making.
GEEZ!
Last night Sabranski (sp) told me that I really inspired her with my acapella set. She herself sings acapella show tunes, but now she is developing her very own style. Who knew? Glad she said so.

OK so I received an impromptu crotchet lesson at my cousins' Christmas Party. I have re-entered the market. I first learned in 3rd Grade. To that end I have borrowed 20 books from the library on crochet to see what I want to make. I'll keep you posted. So far 2 swatches and the beginnings of a scarf.
