I caught the last on act on This American Life yesterday.  Apparently the only way to get through to customer service at a large phone company is by using the media.  

Let me tell you that a few years ago I suddenly started getting large phone bills when I changed apartments.  I had the same phone company at both apartments and asked for the same calling plan.  The calling plan didn't carry over.  One day I'm reading the paper and there is an article with a VP at the company discussing my very dilemma.  I called the VP and I got money back, minus what I actually should have owed based on my calling plan.I caught the last on act on This American Life yesterday.  Apparently the only way to get through to customer service at a large phone company is by using the media.
